Why are agents do damned useless???
I have three issues in hand at moment with three different agents.
1: compensation claim against national grid for damaged caused, 5 figure some. Been ongoing for three years. My agent local firm that have long relationship with. Their agents a national firm.
I’ve got the the stage where I’ve said it’s £500 a week extra till they pay.
2: grass keep sales to two customers. Same customers. Same areas. No change in three years. In hands of local one man band. Licenses started 1st April. No sign of papers despite being promised 4 times since Feb. Total impact another 5 figure some.
3: Grass keep I take from local estate. Managed by regional agent. I disputed the water charge they levied two years ago as they could not supply meter readings as they admitted they dint know where meter is. This year they found it and have put meter in my name with water board. They want a three figure sum each year .....the kicker is the one and only trough on ground us turned off as it’s too high for sheep to drink from and there plenty of water in streams and ponds.
They are just all painful to deal with and it really buggers up cash flow budgets even if I give them 2 months grace in my forecasts.
