Using a Bandai’s bull on native herd

Anyone got experience of using a Basadaise bull onwhit shorthorn highland cattle and their offspring by the longhorn ?Any problems with temperament?

Yes, I've experience of using Baz on WS cows and the other way round. Too much variability in the cross and too many poor shaped ones. I have ditched the WS in the main and prefer to stick to continental x Baz and pure Baz.
But I suppose it depends on the type of farm and why you are keeping HighlandxWS cows.

Someone with more knowledge than me will be able to suggest a good cross for a Highland cow.
