Wish I had photos of our old buggy:cool: we had when I 1st started purpose built as atv's and utv's couldn't cope. Had the same wheels as we're running now but narrow in between the vehicle looked a lot like a gator and was similar size but with a tractor style bonnet had a 2.8 diahatsu engine ran for 10 plus years and was great small lightish and nimble, but got pretty ropey come the end.

Now running a 90 with wide wheels but still mot'd etc come spring/summer normal wheels go on.

Yes they are optional extras but I assume it had them on at some point and it'd definitely be warmer with them in at the moment! But yes, it might be to save some weight (y)
If it's so wet that the weight of the doors make that much difference you'd be better off using the quad.

Fancy a Pajero/Shogun swb

I previously had a SWB paj, 23 years old, was a fantastic offroader, had front, rear and centre diffs on it, I sold it to a farmer to do trailer hauling in and out fields in the winter, he had a fleet of landrovers.... I had 31" malatesta kaimans on it
I now have a shoggie swb, its 12 years old so pretty new  , its a bit of a beast, I have 33" tyres on it, they are about a foot wide, they do stick out of the sides of the truck a bit making it just over 2ms wide...

It is a heavy truck but is superb in the winter, at the moment it pulls the izusu and landrovers out of the fields as they are wet clay and anything without rear and front diffs is getting wodged down, doesnt leave too much of a mark as it doesnt really spin and has wide tyres

This is my old one, was fantastic but could no longer afford to run it, did around 12mpg  its still a field car though and is going strong pulling stuff in the winter, sorry if the photos are big...

These 31 15.5 15 tyres are the same as on the old MF air drills. I've got a feeling that the centre's are the same as the Landrover too.
Floats like a butterfly on them!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
