Any gurus out there that can help me

N174 Direct won’t let me make it go faster than 49K got all the forward/reverse settings right and even the speed restricter settings right just won’t let me use the speed limit in dial any further. All full bar the last one. Works fine in A-C but in D just will not let me scroll right to the top

Any ideas as I’m scratching my head and getting f**ked off. Got a long way carting straw tomorrow so anything will help

if you’ve not put pto in neutral, also if the gps is active it limits speed, but from memory it’s not as fast as where yours stops, so maybe useless info.

Is 49k the true reading? Has it read a higher speed before?

Easy to check against a Tom Tom or similar.

Yes gone faster than the 49k was doing 53 carting bales all summer very happily. There is a control wheel on the armrest and it has a ‘filling’ bar say 10 notches in A-C it’ll go to all ten allowing full speed in each range but in D it will only go to nine, like there is another extra bit but no matter how much I turn the wheel it will not fill the last bar up. Very odd

Then again if you are driving at top speed for a full solid hour it’s only going to take an extra 5 minutes or cover same distance. ?

The last bar? On corner pillar there is 10 bars below the speed.
That is your level of ad blue in tractor on my T194 anyway ?.
Above it adjust the roller switch in each letter of gearbox it’s you a reading /53 the 53 is max that gear is set to ie D be 53. On smart touch screen mine is set if you touch the gear symbol that all three across the top are set to off this allows me too speed on road.

Which model direct?

On the wee screen ones, there's a speed limiter on the transmission settings screen, presume there's something similar on the touch screen ones.

It's number two menu in the wee screen, then select to the right, or press the button below the power shuttle lever.

There's a tractor symbol with a line above the cab. The speed limit can be set lower than max here?

Is it the eco model? My tractor with the eco button pressed will only do 48k but without it it will do 53k. I think the N154 and T174 are the eco models

I'm working in Norway since Wenesday so I'm not on here much , but I have no answers for the questions asked as I don't have a direct or any N series , the 254 I have has the versu box and does about 54-55 km at a max of 1850 revs.

Check the rear wheel settings in the screen our 234 direct keeps resetting every now and then reducing the displayed top speed from 57KPH to 54KPH but still travels just as fast.
