Doesn’t it! Why can’t they slope it on the 130?!That looks a very handy loader tractor with the slopey bonnet.

should help keep the front end down a bit more, but i know which machine id prefer to be sat in when it comes to hills etcI was just pointing out that if jd's own loader is adding 300/400kg extra weight to the front end of the tractor compared to a quicke it would have a big influence on weight distribution.
ill lay bets its to do with airflow over the cooling packs,Doesn’t it! Why can’t they slope it on the 130?!
Cooling packs take up more room than the engineill lay bets its to do with airflow over the cooling packs,
Buy the 120 and remap it. Guy around here does it for about £600, did my last 6130 and turned it up to 160. Only reason I did it was to cut down the gear changes on our banks with the autoquad, this 6130 we have now is vario so haven’t bothered this time. He does a lot for the main dealers of all colours.Doesn’t it! Why can’t they slope it on the 130?!
What about the warranty...Buy the 120 and remap it. Guy around here does it for about £600, did my last 6130 and turned it up to 160. its void , and they know its been mapped or chipped as soon as they plug the lcomputer in regardless if the map or chip has been taken offWhat about the warranty...
I thought it wouldits void , and they know its been mapped or chipped as soon as they plug the lcomputer in regardless if the map or chip has been taken off
The dealers turn a blind eye around here, as it doesn’t show up apparently. Just don’t take the p**s but another 20hp will never stress anything on an owner driven tractor. I wouldn’t worry about weight as it’s easy added, we filled the back tyres with water on our Fendt as it was so light on the backend but jd are heavier so I don’t think you will have any bother. What about the warranty...
Not necessarily if done properly.its void , and they know its been mapped or chipped as soon as they plug the lcomputer in regardless if the map or chip has been taken off

The dealer may turn a blind eye but the manufacturer won't of there's a lot of warranty claims for intercooler hoses. The dealers turn a blind eye around here, as it doesn’t show up apparently. If the 6120 is a lighter tractor that would make a difference, be less inclined to turn up smaller tractor.Different size tractor isn't it?
The 6120m is the biggest of the short frame.
A lot of tractors are remapped before delivery at the main dealers so although your right in practice it rarely creates a problem unless you have really taken the p**s and stuck 50hp on it.The dealer may turn a blind eye but the manufacturer won't of there's a lot of warranty claims for intercooler hoses.
In practice is it not one of the reasons a local dealer was dropped by their manufacturer?A lot of tractors are remapped before delivery at the main dealers so although your right in practice it rarely creates a problem unless you have really taken the p**s and stuck 50hp on it.
Could be, I have no ideaIn practice is it not one of the reasons a local dealer was dropped by their manufacturer?
I just checked the specs of both tractors , the JD is 5200 kg , valtra is 6200 kg. The valtra shuttle is far nicer to work for loader work, the spools on the joystick are very easy to use on the valtra. The valtra has far better visibility too. The valtra now have two seperate oil tanks which long term is a great saving for the tractor. I’m running valtras for 25 years and I’ve yet to see a tractor to beat them, my local valtra dealer has traded in an awful amount of JD tractors lately . One jd was only a year old when it was traded in. Local contractor here was valtra , then went to 4 jds and is now gone back to valtras , says it all really. Why do people change wives..sometimes you fancy a change and ride something different
the JD is numb for a loader but I could live with that just for lifting bales
