Anyone else agree with this? I normally put the revs off a fair distance from a junction and light pressure on brakes, ur saying i should be pushing the brakes harder to save them?A lot don't understand how to look after oil immersed brakes. You're better off braking harder on short bursts than dragging them for ages on a downhill. Dragging them for long periods boils the oil off between the plates and then they get v hot and wear like fu*k. Couple that with a badly braking trailer and thats where the 150hr brake wreckers come from.
