Variable rate liquid fertiliser

Anybody using an N Sensor on liquid fert , if so what nozzles are you running to get a big enough variation to make it worth while, it’s an Agrifac sprayer on a single line so looking for nozzles that can give a good spread of rates without going to too high a pressure to avoid scorch.

I've never done VR liquid with an N Sensor. Just a desktop based file creator (SOYL or others), so I have been able to see the maximum and minimum rates in advance and choose the nozzle or dribble bar setting before going out to the field.

If the highest rates are only a small part of the job, I'd choose a nozzle that suits the average and be prepared to slow down for those bits and speed up for the lowest rates.

Precision Decisions has a good WhatsApp group for supported N Sensor users where this kind of topic crops up regularly. Are you on the list?

I’m on their list , precision decisions are no longer the dealer . Speeding up and slowing down isn’t an option as it constantly varies the rate and by the time you’d altered your speed it’d be too late , beginning to think it’s only really viable on granular spreaders
