Vermin proofing box profile cladding

God some tidy box profile tin cladding but now need to seal against concrete panel. Any suggestions on how we make it rat and mouse proof for long term grain storage? Seem foam but I’m sure they’ll eat that 🤔

They love foam to nest in but they don't like glass in foam

You can get a tin flashing which attaches to the side rail and overlaps the concrete panel to provide a drip before you clad the sides. This then covers the valleys to stop vermin ingress.

@Horn&corn We can supply two different options.

Option 1, Supaseal foam fillers.

Most foam fillers that are supplied are PE (polyethylene) material. A good way to tell if your foam fillers are from this material, is to see if they are black on one side and white on the other. They do call this liquorice (spelt the American way). Birds and rodents tend to peck or eat this material.

Our standard range of fillers are manufactured from a supaseal material. This is normally in a full white or full black colour.

For some unknown reason the birds and mice don't seem to like this material. We've had a few customers say they've used our fillers and don't seem to have the issues you normally get with the PE material.

Option 2, Perforated galvanised flashing.

We have been supplying perforated galvanised flashings for all different types of buildings. Most are only a relatively small trim around 47mm x 25mm, but we do manufacture them to suit the dimensions you require.

The perforation hole size is 3mm off the top of my head.

Don't grain sheds haze a Z shape flashing?
Little bit down the inside of concrete panel , then angled up slightly to the metal cladding then a short bit straight up to fix through?
