Has anyone had this?
I am on Day 22. Had tablets from the Dr which didn't help
Tried the exercises which didn't help
Tried travel sickness pills which made it worse.

I am constantly dizzy, and massively wobbly on my feet 24/7, staggering around all the time.
It's the most horrid thing to have, as I am not ill, just massively debilitated, its really depressing.
Haven't been out of the house since i've had it apart from yesterday when Adam took me out for lunch and birthday shopping.
Today I feel absolutely exhausted.

Any ideas welcome as I've read this can go on for months and months
Thank You
Susie

My wife has it, although it has settled down.
Best piece of advice is to wear a hat in cold weather or at times when the wind makes your ears "ring".
It tends to flare up when you are run down so try to look after yourself rather than just carrying on.

Thank you. I am a very impatient patient.

Hi.
I used to have 5/6 episodes a year until 2 yrs ago when I had a quad heart bypass and a carotid endarterectomy (see google).
Touch wood it seems to have gone away.
Whether it was related to a 98% blockage in the carotid I don't know.

5020 man.

I have suffered from vertigo on and off for years. The most horrible and depilating disease. I have tried many tablets but they all made me ill. I started with it again this week, a friend who also suffers said she had tablets from the Dr. Prochlorperazine. I asked my Dr and she said they are actually fro nausea but I could try them. I only took one and the dizziness went. Worth a try?

You have my utmost sympathy. It's seriously vile as you aren't ill per se just debilitating as you cannot do things. I was in in bed for quite a while. I am on day 36 now, it's better than it was in terms of I have managed to walk up the road or should I say stagger, I can now have a shower with towels down as I am so unsteady on my feet and scared of slipping over. I can watch tv without feeling sick and read.
I have found that stress makes it much much worse and alcohol relieves it

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
