The baler works fine until the net wrapping process. The net starts ok but it doesn’t complete the process and the knife doesn’t try and cut the net. The spindle doesn’t seem to move right I think either which could be the cause.

Not sure how the knife drops on those, but on my mchale sometimes the mechanism gets dry and the knife does,t drop fast enough. WD 40 sorts it out.

There is a pilot box so when the net wrap button is pressed, a hydraulic ram retracts starting tensions a belt which turns the net roller. That all seems ok but it just doesn’t cut or the spindle doesn’t seem to complete the net process if that makes sense.

Small pulley on the net roller and larger pulley on the non drive side of front roller? Later balers had this setup and there’s a speed sensor behind the pulley counting rotations off a peg screwed to the pulley. I’ve known the sensor to fail, the sensor to come loose and increase the cap, the sensor falling off and the peg falling off!!!!!. This sensor is the one that counts net coversge and activates the linear motor to slacken off the bekt and then drop the knife. No idea if yours is similar sorry

I had a Duetz version of this baler for probably 15 years and was never able to get the thing to net reliably , things that help are the right net , novatex I found the best , then talc the rubber roller regularly especially if baling wet stuff , finally get the right tension on the net brake , which will have to be adjusted a few times as the diameter of the roll decreases if it's the same as my Deutz which was a spring loaded tin lid on the net
