That's ok then.

Imagine what that money could do if put towards small local independent abattoirs, oh ye I forgot the the countries nearly bankrupt and savings need to be made.

Yeah but you said you want it spent on the disadvantaged in Wales, there's 3 million of you, a tenner isn't buying you much.

Now Then..
Villages can often be naturally traffic calming. Bends in the road, parked cars etc.
I have a dead straight 'A' road past my house (one of about 30 houses) with a 50 Mph limit. Many cars pass here like it's a grand prix track.
🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️, never see a police car pull any up though 🚓..

20mph limit started here too. But what got me was the flashing lights and 20mph outside a local school when hardly anyone is about. Then, it's go home time and flooded with cars, kids, and pedestrians and it's the normal limit with no flashing lights! There's no reason to it. Do these people not think?

Hmmm, Forcing vehicles to take 50% longer to do the journey, hang on though, that means they will cause 50% more pollution then. Real wise thinking.
Might make a few people question the amount of driving they do?
The more we speed up travel the more we travel and the further we go which equals more pollution. Perhaps we should be doing things like this to reduce travel?
Better than putting constraints on food production and blaming farmers for climate change.
