Used to be able to go 30K+ before a filter change.

However I suppose in this brave new world, a quick change F/F that will help with the ever increasing bio content (which appears to be clogging tractor and combine filters this season).

Changing my Amarok engine oil filter is even easier, but the fuel filter is a real pain to replace

BMW and Audi diesels, certainly the six cylinder ones, have top access and clean change oil filters right at the front of the engines just behind the fan. Brilliant.
Fuel filters not so easy though, although access is fine.

This is where my Honda falls down. Low mounted oil filter accessed from beneath and a fuel filter actually underneath the air filter housing, which has to be removed to gain access.

Volvo don't even fit engine oil dipsticks these days and lord knows where anything is on it. There's nothing visible from the top, looking down on the engine.

Worst I have ever experienced is the engine oil filter on a diesel Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Finding it was like a game of Where’s Wally, changing it required go go gadget arms and the strength of a worlds strongest man competitor. There is no room to get any tools to it.
