water in hydraulic oil

my friend has purchased a manitou mlt 626t it has water in hydraulic system a lot all cream colour and is jeddering when you work the main lever cable operated what is the best way to drain out and flush all the system out help would be appreciated thanks rustypete

I guess one of the first things is to ascertain how the water got in there.
the first time i seen it my mate was working with it shined a torch in the tank today checked it as it was stopped for 24hrs tank clear so it must be drawing air in from between the tank and the pump and that would be causing the juddering the gauze for the outlet to the pump could be chocked is there anything other thing you can think of thanks for your reply

The cloudiness in the oil might be air?
Unless rainwater or over use of the steam cleaner which is highly unlikely.

air so going to drain tank and take a look at the outlet gauze and the rubber pipe to the pump as could be breaking up with age a post on here advised me will let you know as working on manitou on sunday thanks

yes it is air gauze in the oil tank could be clogged reply to you later as not going to the job till sunday any tips i will check hose from tank to pump incase it is breaking up inside
