I have been happy with the De Walt offering from Screwfix at about ÂŁ59 but on offer from time to time. Been wearing them through a Welsh May and haven't had wet feet yet

The best waterproof boot I have had. And very reasonably priced.

I am issued with Haix boots for coastguard . I hate them! Took me year to find the correct insole as they killed my feet. A few colleagues had the same. Too much pressure on your heels

Haix boots are notoriously slow to break in.
I used to have to use for a day the a few days off and repeat. Used to be Army issue.
Perhaps why many soldiers bought their own different make boots.
