Weaner pigs

Looking for 2 or 3 weaner pigs not too far from Hereford .....not pot belly ,mini or any other such things ! Must be gilts or castrated males

Are you telling me that Hereford market doesn't sell pigs anymore ? time fly's but can remember going to the old market over 30 years ago(I'm getting old) there used to be hundreds of every shape and colour you'd want, a lot of coloured from smallholdings.

Sadly no pigs in Hfd market .
Used to buy a sow and litter get her to rear them keep 2 for the freezer sell the remaining weaner and the sow separate ,make a few quid and end up with some decent pork !
Many cattle men used to buy a couple of weaners on a Thurs just to fatten up for the freezer . Can't persuade the market to re-start the pig though . Was going well before Covid they were getting a lot of pigs there .
