I'm not sure that he is necessarily more accurate but he his clear on how accurate he expects it to be which is very important. There has been occasions when he has said it is virtually impossible to predict more than 48 hours ahead which is good to know.
I think in general,there are periods during spring and autumn when weather patterns have seasonal changes which complicate matters.
Whether the weather be fine,
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether weather be cold,
Or whether the weather be hot,
We'll weather the weather,
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not !!
