Sorry but these forecasts are annoying me now,met office forecast for us now is maybe a thunder shower on Monday, then dry for another 10 days. That is NOT the drought coming to an end,i know you are desperate to be the first to tell us when the real rain is coming, but please try to be realistic.

Hi Baleman

The word drought means a period without rain, from this weekend and over the next 2-3 weeks most probability charts are seeing dry sunny weather but also a lot of rain at times too sometimes in the form of showers but also more prolonged rain is likely also as the Jet wobbles and at times moves south.

Not sure what you mean by getting in first metjeffuk prides itself on providing and giving as much warning to farmers to help them plan there work.

Yes,but you are misleading us saying the drought is coming to an end.To most farmers the drought coming to an end means 3-4 inches of rain over say a week allowing crops to recover and grass to grow again, and it is obvious that aint happening in the next 2 weeks!

This may or may not come off but the latest computer model output is suggesting more in the way of rain over the next 4 weeks and less in the of sun but remain warm or very warm we will see.
*Green denotes rain*

I for one am hoping your crystal ball is working this time around as grass is really burning up now and needs a weeksmall soak now.
