A cloudy start across much of central and western Scotland as well as Northern Ireland. Expect some rain here, with some of it possibly heavy in Northern Ireland. Still some cloud affecting eastern coasts of England, but dry more of we have been used to with good spells of sunshine. Some expected almost anywhere but more especially in Wales and the SW later some thundery Highs up to 25C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Turning hotter again with sunny spells and scattered heavy / thundery showers on Thursday and Friday. Windier with rain in the northwest on Saturday, but the south should become drier.
