A cold northerly, showers for many. showers heaviest in southern and eastern areas perhaps with an odd thunderstorm. Somewhat drier weather edging south through the day. Highs 15C/59F


Sunday17-9

With pressure rising from the west. So a much drier and brighter day for many. But some showers may still be affecting eastern coasts of England, and an odd one in southwest England. The majority of places will be dry with sunny spells .and with light winds Highs at 18C/64F

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
