Recently bought this rp435 baler so I'm not fully aware of all its habits I'm having a bit of bother with the net starting then getting wrapped around that red roller and not going into the chamber does anyone know why it would be doing this? Any help greatly appreciated

There’s some strips of rubber in front of the belts make sure they are downwards. Would it be one way of the field so wind can catch the net as it goes in

Also is the net cut nicely if not turn or replace the knife
Hi yes the knife cuts very nicely, those rubber flaps I've had a closer look there was 2 bent up so I've straightened them now would them being bent make the net wrap on that roller?

Tighten the brake slightly, there’s a good clip on YouTube showing how to set it up properly. As above make sure the knife is cutting not tearing. Also theres a metal ‘slide’ that guides the net between the rollers, bend it up the way, it runs the width of the chamber, it works it’s way down with the movement of the baler. This can pulled well up but the net needs to slip down it.
wind can also affect the netting on them quite badly.

Wash that roller spotless as dirt can make it wrap and I suspect that tun plate above it possibly needs bent towards the chamber but could be wrong @wuddy would be the man to know . Bending the plate definitely stopped it dropping into the rotor wrapping round the roller only ever happened a few times with me . Wind will blow it up and round the feed rollers again. Check the roller fir rough bits someone might have marked it enough in the past to catch the net

Check the red roller for stone chips.we have to file or a sanding disc in grinder to ensure its totally smooth..even the smallest mark can make it wrap round.generally every five thousand bales or so .depends if it's been working stony land and behind a rake as the stones get in the trail.

Thanks for the replys guys, I've touch wood sorted it the brake was badly set and that metal plate above the roller was bent well back so bent it up again and I've since baled 250 trouble free.
