Welger RP150S Round Baler, net roller issue?

I am looking over one of these Balers for a neighbour as a favour to see what might be wrong with it. Not gone for several years and his recollection was a net wrap problem.

Had a quick furtle around once it was under the barn, and the wear on the Net Wrap rollers jumped out. I am assuming that these should be smooth, and I am guessing the new picking up (as can be seen on the rollers) will not have helped the feed one bit?

Anyone have a parts book and can tell me the number please, and also, any recommendations for Stockist these days? It doesn't look that easy a job replacing them.....

A rather wet few days, has meant I have been looking at some machinery jobs, as it's too wet to get on a field, and drive a post or two in!

I did some calling around some Dealers who have sold Welger in the past, and also the local Agco outlet, R V Pugh. Sadly, no one has any old stock and Pugh's said that they cannot get hold of any parts for the model now. As the baler was made in 1988, I am not really surprised, but still a little sad as it is a good baler otherwise.

I have looked online and found a Ukrainian dealer with some spares, but no rollers! Anyone got any suggestions for UK dealers who might just have some old stock....?

Else it's off to the scrappy... whic does seem a shame.

if your aftersomone to recover the rollers PM me i can put you in touch with a firm which does. check the brake on the mechanism too, and also check the knife we had an rp220 have a fractured knife which led to issues with the netter playing absolute hell. Sometimes it can be down to those being out of adjustment. Is that roller the one which looks a mess the foam covered one or the rubber one?
