Wellies or dealer boots at LAMMA tomorrow?

Use to be free i thought? :scratchhead:
I can remember it being 4 quid before 7.30, 6 quid after at Newark and a proper good feed.
Not sure that they do a early bird special offer any more.
Last year they included imported milk/butter in the breakfast, good to know they're supporting British farmers eh.
Doesn't sound good for this year either, dissapointing as its organised by the owners of farmers guardian, a publication which relys on farmers.

Im going tomorrow, trouble is, where else can you get a half decent breakfast before sun up in the area?
Suggestions welcome.

I’ve eaten a full English in the Cambridge services before and it was king compared to today’s lamma effort, it’s just down the road, last year the early bird wasn’t that bad at lamma but wasn’t impressed today.

Don't know if there's one close but Premier Inns do a good breakfast, £9 and you help yourself to as much as you want cereals, toast, drinks, juice, and fried stuff. Start pretty early, 6.30 if I remember right.

Yes I'd agree that the breakfast was ok last year, just expressing a dissapointment that a show for farmers wasn't fully backing British farmers in the breakfast department.

We're heading from the west so don't pass Cambridge services.:(

Shame, years ago I eat breakfast at one of the vans before I knew about the early bird, wasn’t bad as bacon rolls go but I remember thinking it should have had half a pig in it for the price

You're dead right. Go to the Paris Show and there's a whole marquee full of fresh local produce for meals. No doubt the site has some deal with a catering company, but it was a shame there were no festival type caterers, just crappy vans selling mainly sliced pork rolls from what I could see.

Food is often an issue at shows and with it being an early start it's nice to get a good breakfast in you.
We do have an option of stopping at Dinkys Diner outside Shrewsbury but would prefer to get the miles done before traffic builds.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
