I spoke to someone down there that was looking to buy a BFL x Texel ram (for some reason). He said there was lots of VERY well fed rams there and trade was on fire. Haven’t heard any more than that but I’l quiz him tomorrow.
Charollais numbers were short, and sold well, with a near total clearance. I was told the good Texels were on fire, but lots of ‘also rans’ were not much money (I nearly put ‘cheap’, but there’s a difference). The best Berrichons were selling very well apparently too, and that was from a seller as I didn’t see them.
Sorry, I didn’t hear much about the other breeds as busy nattering at the Charollais end of things.
