Pigeon shooting could be interesting this year due to lack of osr around here. May keep one nearly fecked field as a magnet field. Where’s gun emojis when you need it

My view is if you had a big harvest keep some back and do nothing for a year, there will be more money in the bank until at least april 2021, Then it will depend on how much machine finance and rented land over £100/ac you have as to how it stacks up after that. Very very fortunately for me it is a viable option.

Aversion not evasion ;)

Quite so, Spencer.

Logically, aversion should lead on to avoidance, rather than to evasion.

The former being legal, and the latter not.

2019 crops in store may legitimately be valued at the cost of production - which, given the huge yields experienced might be as low as £50/tonne for WB, for example.

And all this will be unwinding in 2020/21, just in time to support some of the 50% long-run yield potential of the current crops being grown, many sold forward at 75% of long-run prices..
