That's LEDs.
I'd definitely plant LED bulbs rather than halogens, they're far more efficient.

Yes, Led lights are more efficient in saving energy. Recently on a television program there was a test about the savings for halogens against Led lights. The results are impressive: Led lights save on average £100 than the cost to run halogens at £200, but halogens have more light and give wider light to bigger area than the more white light from Led's and thus you probably need more Led's costing more money to get same amount of light that halogens produce.

What do you think about Led lights in comprison to halogens?

Thanks for your useful reply.

Yes, odd that.
A few pages back it was absolutely perfect in a couple of posts. Then all of a sudden it returns to this over the top bad English. Post 166 is a fine example.

Thanks for your helpful information regarding my English getting good to needing improvement.

Can you please explain the reasons for post 166 being not so good?

Thanks for your help

Hi Malooq,
My remark about the improvement in your use of the English language was based on the amount of words of more than two syllables you are now able to use in your postings. Well done you. (y) You're turning out to be a jolly good chap. :pompous:

Ps. Had a word with Aunty Phillys on the weekend and she told me to tell you that she'll give you a good discount if you mention my name. ;);)

The emoticon  means roll eyes. This is not to be confused with the eyes on potatoes which you may consider growing in your garden, or roll which could be made using flour which is made from wheat also grown in your garden.

You will need :poop: and  in your garden to make things grow well.

Thanks for explaining the meaning of the purple emoticon. Yes, heard of growing eyes on potatoes, some people cut the eyes off potatoes on the side and leave the main eyes when planting, people grow the eyes in temperature controllable places like in a shed, they take a few weeks to grow. People too remove the eyes to eat them. Potatoes go green because of high sun exposure, resulting the taste being bitter.

What is all the helpful information you learn when growing your food?

Wheat is good to grow as with flower there is so many products to make, in baking there is cakes, cup cakes, muffins, then there is bread, pancakes, dough for pizza, pastry, croissants, cookies, of which I have got the pleasure of eating over the years, pretzels need to taste them and many more.
