What car for 3 children?

How are other people lugging around 3 baby seats and associated things and probably 2 dogs as well. Currently a Tiguan and it’s done well but we need something bigger. Wife has family a fair distance and I hate being crammed into a tiny car. We took the pickup last time which was brilliant but not all that practical. Not ruling out leasing totally but can’t get my head around it just yet.

Galaxy or Grande Scenic?

Look at something with slidey doors, makes life easier in car parks.

I generally try to avoid parking next to people carriers in car parks....

A friend of mine still recalls parking his brand spanking new Seat Toledo (his first new car) in a super market car park.
As soon as he saw a heavy young lad storming through the shop doors at high speed and across the car park to his mums people carrier, he knew what was going to happen.....

Door was flung open and slapped off his new Seat.....it almost brought a tear to his eye.

Sorry for rambling.....

Preferably get one with no back seat !;);)

3 is the limit...... always knew holidays were dangerous things!
Yes , I had a friend farmed just off the A6 North of Milnethorpe , who had quite a big family . He always said that they were all a direct result of holidays , and that he should have been more careful . Having said all that - they were a really happy family - What I called "family oriented life " He had the right idea on his farming too , some would say - he ran an old tractor and a new car !

Smaller car for our family (3kids) with a roof box for holidays etc. I can put up with as 45mpg most of the time rather than a disco at 20ish.
Brother runs a high spec galaxy that’s been mapped and that is a pretty quick thing and nice to be in

The old chap's got one of those Citroen Berlingo van things with two rows of seats. We always pile in that when we visit the UK tons of room inside and cheap to run.
Perhaps not the right image though.
Mrs Pom has just got a new Hyundai Santa Fe as a work car. Loads of room in it, 7 seats etc. The new model is a big improvement over what was already a good car.
Don't know how it compares price wise with the Volvo's, VW's etc that are popular on your side of the world, maybe worth a look.
