2x rants tonight :-
Local Hospital multi million pound life saving Stroke unit closing leaving nothing for stroke patients within 40 miles & the building being repurposed as a 'Gender Re-alignment clinic' whatever the f*ck that is - all being done under the radar

Dream team of Fibre Broadband line installers have laid 3 miles of line by placing it in a roadside ditch & filling in the ditch resulting in a 3 mile stretch of road with rainwater pouring everywhere along its length

I swear this country & the people running it get worse on a daily basis
Ffs, this gender swapping carry on has there always been this ammount of people wanting it and theyve kept it hidden but now its seen as more acceptable theres more coming out. Or is it a geniune minority that have these issues and a percentage that see it as a fashionable trend. Ie veganism.
I dont know. What i do know is its madness to priorotise it on the NHS.
Stop the world i want to get off.

Demand is "unprecedented" and waits are "a death sentence"!

People.

Been employing a chap as a labourer on potato grader, not great but better than useless, so worth having. Was incapable of being on time at the start, consistently 13mins late, got that drummed out of him and thought he was turning a bit of a corner. He was almost unemployable at the start but gave him a chance to help him get earning and also as his guardian was a true gent who held him to account and pushed him on down the right path.

Text message this morning at 03.20hrs, won’t be in today, as I’ve fallen out with lady I lodge with, so have moved to Aberdeen and won’t be coming back to work at all.

Great, thanks mate.

Badgers. We have a length of electric mesh fence (unenergised) to keep the ducks from straying. Don't know how many times I have patched it up after badgers have ripped their way through it. I could replace it with stock fence but it seems overkill. We have poultry mesh on the bottoms of gates etc and the badgers must use this as dental floss, leaving holes wide enough for ducks to escape and lambs to get their heads stuck.

Anyone who refers to a tractor by only the type. As it turns out I am not psychich, so unless the topic is about a specific brand how about mentioning it. And when said brand is claas how about taking one second to actually get the thing on the bonnet spelled right. If you get a letter wrong in hatzenbichler, fair enough, spelling claas wrong is retarded.

Buying and selling stuff on Facebook. Saw a set of flotation wheels advertised… no price. Messaged seller to get a price, looking for £4k. Ok, out of budget, thanks but no thanks I said.
Day or two later, message comes through ‘I’m now open to offers above £2k for the wheels and highest offer will take them’
Well fk me, either you want £4k, or £2k, or somewhere in the middle? What’s wrong with just advertising stuff for sale at a price you want for it?
On a closer look it looks like the guy has a business buying and selling machinery, surely you don’t get much business carrying on like that?

A family member has been visiting an elderly relative in hospital.
A man in the bed opposite has had a visit from his son, and his boy friend each afternoon. They turn up in muddy walking boots talking about where they have been for a walk before the visit leaving a trail of mud through the hospital.
Even when the nurses or cleaners catch up with them cleaning up the mess, they don't apologise or even think to put clean footwear on the next day.
The entitlement of these morons is unbelievable.

I don't like to pass comments of a critical nature but some people's hand hygiene leaves something to be desired sometimes. I mean you know you're going to be entering a hospital right, maybe spruce yourself up a bit perhaps? Some time ago I encountered a person (not a member of staff or volunteer before anyone starts with that) who I swear had human excrement on their hands and under their nails. I see, so are you just visiting your relative or intending to pass C diff to them as well as a parting gift? :X3: You can perhaps understand why I'm extremely hesitant to shake hands in a clinical environment now.

Woken by the noisy mouse making a hole in the floorboards during the night and chewing at the carpet. Boroscope down hole: sure enough fresh mouse sh!t. So down to the Chem store for some bait. Tipped a bit down the hole and laid a bit of steel plate on it as a temporary fix. Set a trap just in case he pops up somewhere else as the floorboards are a bit gappy. Let the cat in. We have had a lot of carpet moths as well this year. Grazed it bald in places. No shortage of wildlife here though the bees in the chimney seem to have gone, fingers crossed. Been here last two years buzzing away on warm nights.
Fox calling in the wood. Deer on the struggling OSR. Bumble bees all over the gorse. Nature in crisis? I don’t think so.

Using rat poison in the house is a bad idea. Use traps so that you have a body to throw out, not rot behind the skirting board.
I had to explain this to Mrs Britt, But she didn't have the patience. So learned the hard way.
