I know I really should have posted this in 'Computers and IT' but I thought I might get more folks to see it in here and maybe get a quicker reponse.

For the last 3 days my laptop (my device of choice for viewing TFF) will only bring it up in this strange fashion...
20210619_225431.jpg

...I think I must have inadvertantly pressed something somewhere.

Switching it off and on has no effect and, as far as I can see, everything else that I connect to on the internet (AHDB market reports, Google, YouTube, etc) shows up as normal.

My phone works as normal (using it to type this) but a small screen, smaller keys and my sausage fingers detract enormously from my 'viewing experience'.

Here's hoping someone out there in TFFland can shed some light on the problem.

TIA.
Yours faithfully,
'Worried' of North Lincs.

Thought as much ....

Ok ....

Have you had an update on your computer software recently?
Have you logged off the site completely then retried?
Have you been viewing inappropriate websites in Russia e.g. Hot Russian Brides waiting for love?
Have you sprinkled sawdust on your hard drive?

Well?

First try opening TFF on the Edge browser I see you have a shortcut to on the task bar, if it works in that your problem lies in the Chrome browser you are currently using. Assuming Chrome is the problem next step is probably opening Chrome, going into settings and clearing the cookies, history and restoring default settings. Warning: may log you out of all the sites and delete all the passwords it usually puts in for you depending on which options you choose. If this doesn't work you'll have to uninstall then reinstall Chrome, not difficult to do.

1. Yes, it updated itself the other night.
2. No, but I'll try.
3. No comment
4. No, but I did spill a packet of salt and vinegar crisps on the keyboard - does that count?

try a different web browser

I have to work with two browsers. Safari won't show some pictures so I have to use Firefox for them which won't open some links. But, hey!, it's a Mac and you have to give up some features for the quality of the build, expense, and snob value. Oh, I forgot. Firefox always opens on a random post about MF 380 steering put up on TFF months ago. I haven't a clue what that's about.
