Turning straw. If the sun did what it was supposed to do it wouldn't be necessary.

Calving cows at 3am. Usually in a blizzard after dragging the vet and a neighbour or 2 out of bed to help.

Oh and ploughing today cos it's making a sh!t job no matter what I adjust.
 
If, (that's a big IF) you have any spare time it is worth slitting tyres into two half rings so that they only hold water one way.

They are still plenty heavy enough to hold the sheet and get heavier when full of water but after use can be stored the other way up to drain.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
