What size plough?

What other implements do you have Kidds?
Power harrow, rotavator, spring tines (Triple K) flat rolls etc. Fanciest is my flail mower which will handle the prunings in my orchards up to 6" supposedly but anything that big is saved as firewood.
No big acreages so cheap and cheerful stuff is plenty good enough. I want the plough mostly to tidy up some ex-orchard ground so I can reseed it and get it sold. Plough is sorted now apart from some bushes for the depth wheel, I can give it a test flight then.

I’ll change it back if it makes you happy. Was just trying to keep it correct for the 4 people in the world interested in the history of CNH utility tractors.
I just get upset when folk come on here stating "facts" when in reality they may not be fully accurate - it might be an idea to put the odd " I think..." in if you aren`t fully certain. Case New Holland and MF seem to delight in trying to confuse us all with their model "numbering" . A good friend has had a few NH tractors in the past few years so I`ve seen a few confusing "made in" labels on them...

Fair enough. I only joined this thread to tell people not to expect too much from the higher HP Farmall A(I think) and T5S tractors. As their back ends don’t really match their HP.

I'll speak in defence of these tractors, as I bought one 12 years ago (Case JX95). Yes they are simple, a bit sparse in the cab and lightly built. But sometimes that is all that's needed. Ours has done everything we needed it to, on a small mixed farm. The only thing I really didn't like is the back axle/pickup hitch arrangement which was difficult with a trailer on. It's not a tractor to cultivate 100's of acres with but they aren't billed as that. Minimal electrics and fixable with spanners. It left here on Monday as I've traded it in but I feel a bit sad that it's gone.

TL - TLA - T5000- T4/T5 (T5 is slightly heavier duty backend than a T5000, T4.115 etc was more comparable backend, but most p) - T5 utility.

TD- TD5000- TD5. - T5s
TN-TNA- T4000-T4 powerstar

that’s the way I thought it was. I think the T4S is a new range?
Not to sure with the case numbers/letters

I am in the process of converting it to a 3 furrow reversible. It lifts that with little effort and hopefully pulls it equally easily. I am after making it a nice job to do rather than some competition to kill my tractor. :)
My IH has a choice of lifting points so do get what you mean. (y)

A 3 furrow reversible would be more than enough for your tractor IMO. As others have said it's a lightweight utility tractor not designed for the work older 90hp tractors were doing, you'd need at least a T5 electrocommand/Case Vestrum/Luxxum or above for that type of duty.
