What size steels?

Hi all,
Thinking of doing a little project,
Lean to building,
3 15ft bays, 20ft deep.
12ft to eaves at the front.
Box profile roof.
What size steel should I use for the uprights?
What size steel for the rafters?
How much fall does the building need from back to the front?
Cheers, only a little job I know. Keep me busy.

Check this image out - is it what you want?

178x102 19 will be ok for posts and rafters if you want to push the boat out use 203x133x25 posts 7x3 timbers and 0.7 roof sheet in one length cut the roof pitch down to 6 deg if you like (640mm over 20 ft) give you more height at the back

is it ok to go to 6 degree pitch, my shed builder said he does 12 degrees

Both Hot & Cold but the smaller frames are suited to cold rolled unless specifically stated that Hot is required.

Guide for cold 15m span & 6m height (e.g 20') length can be as long as you like!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
