I don't know what this is/was. But it's not a herbivore.

The hair does look like deer hair, but hard to tell in a pic. The obvious is a lynx, but the teeth are too big and the eyes are set way to far back for cats. Dogs/wolf/coyote don't have that large of canine teeth.
