What's a steel framed building worth?

200x60ft, all I would be getting to take down would be roof, 20year old box profile sheet, timber purlings, and h beam clear span trusses, the legs are only 9ft as its a chicken shed, so I will need to buy new legs probably 20feet. If anyone was at grass tech last week it's the same as the shed that had been put up there.

yes i agree if they bog you down with health and safety stuff
Well there is that but 20 year old tin isn't going to be the best then there is time removing stacking transporting and other costs done a few and it's touch and go if you actually make a saving worth all the hassle if it was a bit younger with good steels different story

I would buy it not sure how much I would pay though
the box profile will last for ages on the side of the shed when you put it back up just put new on the roof, its not very high so getting it down wouldn't be to bad

A number of folk were saying the shed cost £4000 at grasstech. Dont what that included tho for sure as there were different variations of the story!!

I heard that too, That's what I offered and got turned down at for now, don't know weather to let it be or offer a wee bit more, after seeing that shed up at grasstech I'm keen to do same, a new kit that size must be well over 60k? My only concern is getting planning for it without drawings and a building warrant, anyone felt with that before and know the cost of planning for a shed that size? I could split it up and put it as 2 smaller sheds.

When I've looked at 2nd buildings they're usually asking for too much, and it's not worth it compared to new, they're usually around £1 sq foot

Apply in phases, that what I've always done.(well when I bothered with planning):)
Trouble is we have a nosey neighbour and have a lot of agro with the planners, at least the fee for the ag building is much cheaper than roofing over the menage that is there now;)

Saw a 200 x 120 x 8 m leg double span building fetch £20,600 which I thought was a lot of money
Site was to be cleared and deposit of £10K to be held until site was back in farmable state
