Too dry here. Barely seen a blade of BG except in drilled OSR........Lot of black grass germinated so will give it another month.

We are the eternal optimists . I shall be growing a lot less cereals this year .How yer diddling.
At £110 or less, is it fudgeing worth it ?
I’ve taken a screenshot of that! Will be drilling abit earlier this year compared to the last few on a lot of our wheat. Seem to be on top of blackgrass now and more importantly we will Be zero till drilling into stubbles that have had no seed return on them this year. From experience I think if you cultivate and have blackgrass you have no choice but to wait until the end of October. Cultivating breeds blackgrass.
Ha, that’s only on fields with 3 years no wheat and no seed return. There is some which have a higher blackgrass burden which are cultivated for after 20th October.I’ve taken a screenshot of that!
