Where has all the grass gone?

Farmers turn out to early .grass grows grass. never cast a clout till May be out
each to their own, I do reseed regularly but if I wait too long the grass is too far ahead and im not utilising it. Got more cattle out early than ever before, about 85%, kept a few back as cold winds, have kept early grass growth in check, but whilst not short a rain/ warmth in next 2 weeks would be appreciated, surely well grazed leys respond, let them get long and far less responsive?

Been persistently raining here all night. Big puddles...it can stop for a while now and have some sunshine please.

Must be going to be a BBQ summer as they haven't mentioned it!

6 mls here, still drizzling as at 10am. Would have liked more especially on our barley and peas given no more rain is forecast.
