Cheers, yes, I found this plate but it doesn't seem to have the VIN, which should be 17 or 18 characters long.

Any ideas?

That's it. They don't have "VIN" numbers as such, just chassis/frame numbers. It may be down in the logbook as 6045/005642 but that's unlikely.
The books I have (for my 12045 and 6911) just quote the frame numbers as the 4-digit (for 12045) and 5-digit (for 6911).
