I’ve had a full face motorbike helmet for riding the quad for a good many years and it’s getting a bit grim wearing it now so will be looking for a new one. Anyone got any good suggestions which might be a bit lighter and more comfortable which I should look at as a replacement?

When I used to instruct bikers on how to ride better (might as well give myself a puff), used a Shoei Neotec. Safe but easy to lift for a chat or to cool off

I just wear a cheap open face (don`t like goggles/visors etc.) It`s like being let out of prison after a full face - I do curse a bit when a fly gets in my eye though......

I've been wearing a Shark helmet for the last two years.....brought out in conjunction with Yamaha NZ and AU to address the issue of a decent helmet to wear out on the farm for extended periods. Key point is it only weighs 1200 grammes, has vents in the top and cutaways in the sides so you can hear what's going on. Also has quick release fastening... a little pricey... about $300 over here, but far safer than the $50/30 kph plastic Ag Hats that are being soldView attachment DN 385 August 29- Shark Helmet-JD Ride.pdfView attachment DN 385 August 29- Shark Helmet-JD Ride.pdf
