Hi, My O2 contract is up and I'm due an upgrade currently have a galaxy s2 which I like, but was just seeking the opinions of some one that keeps up to date with these smart phones, I thought my next phone would be an s3 but I see now there is an s4, that didn't take long I thought the s3 was only out a matter of months. Any way has any one got an s3 or s4 and what do you make of it?

Thanks

Replaced an s2 with a s3 at the start of the month,so far so good.

Was going to get an iPhone5 but after seeing how small the screen was went with the s3.

Look at the Sony Xperia Z. Waterproof, dustproof, lovely display, and in some benchmarks it's the fastest on market.

I live in a poor reception area and have found the Sony (mines an Xperia T) to get a better signal than Samsung and HTC.

Leave this thread going long enough and you'll have recommendations for every phone made;)

Had an s3, really good phone but screen broke in my pocket one day at work, so I rang O2 an claimed it broke so sent me a new one, one month later I'm pushing the half shafts back onto my jd and push a wheel stud straight through my phone! It is just to big an easy to smash! I've got a Samsung galaxy ace now, for fraction of the price it's not far off from the same phone, and smaller! If I were u I'd get the s4 sell it on eBay for £400 plus and get an ace for £70!

Same here with google nexus 4 find it great to use and seems tough although university life is kind on phones. The next few months of work on the other hand should test it. Just one thing make sure you get the battery life app as it makes a lot of difference to battery life

+1 although make sure you fit a bumper to it, as the back is fragile.

How do you guys rate the battery life on the GN4?? Just received a new Blackberry 9900 after a warranty claim but considering replacing it for something more app-friendly!

As above its Ok not brilliant, I have a charger in the car and tractor so its never a problem.

I had a BB9900 before the GN4, you won't regret changing!!

Waow...looks a cracking little phone!! Love Googles' simplicity so looks right up my street....must say I loved my Blackberrys in their day but they're a dead duck now and I have to embrace touchscreen eventually!! What can I expect to pay for a GN4 and what covers are you guys using??
