We are looking at combines which combine would you say is best option.
Doesn’t seem to be a lot of Money between any of them.
New Holland 8.80 , class 660tt, or the john Deere 670.
We had demos of all three preferred new Holland , however we have great John Deere dealer service and service look after us very welll (tractors) Thoughts please. [emoji106]

I would hazard a guess that the JD might not be as popular second hand and therefore worth less to trade in when the time comes? But if you have a good dealer that's worth a lot. As to the machines themselves I have nothing to add as all too new for me to have driven....

John Deere. From what I have seen in 5 Walker comparisons with other brands it will have the best performance. I’m surprised a Claas with tracks is a similar price to JD. Would think Claas would not depreciate as much.. We got a price for a John Deere combine, told them it was too much to swap and they dropped the price £15000. Do think Claas will move much on price. When you start to get near a deal I think the JD will be cheaper.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
