I know probably half a dozen local lads who are on the forum quite well, so work for sum and met probably the same again at shows or on trips. I’ve also bought, sold and done work for a couple of members who’ve pm’d Me after comments made on a thread and it’s always been a pleasant experience.
Lost track of the number of times I’ve helped other members fix machines via pm, should setup a JustGiving page or can we have a premium rate pm service @Clive

I’m always happy to say who I am if I meet another forum member, I don’t say anything on here I wouldn’t say to someone’s face.

There's quite a high proportion of Welsh speakers on here. That may be because a very high proportion of Welsh farmers are Welsh speakers, if you discount the 'down below's' from the bottom of Pembrokeshire. No all, of course, but fairly locally we have second generation English and Italian immigrant farmers that are fluent Welsh speakers. Another high proportion that don't generally speak or write in Welsh understand almost every word of it, like Derrick for instance, and ex poster 'Penmoel' whose children are absolutely fluent.
We are everywhere, not just local. Always best to assume that everyone everywhere understands the language, because you meet them globally.
