Been snowing a bit and freezing all week, it’s been like a skating ring all week.

snow last night now it’s melting and back to the incessant rain that’s been here since f**king March

Bugger all snow landing on the frozen ground, now turned to a slushy mess. Yech!!

Got enough haylage and hay into racks and on the field

Ewes looking miserable this afternoon, not that I blame them! But at least I can get some electric fence stakes in and move 'em later in the week.

A couple of inches here on the southern tip of the Lincs Wolds!! More to the point pipes to water troughs frozen this morning. Very misty all day. Now raining and milder so I guess will be gone by morning and a hell of a mess.

I used to love snow when I had a gritting contract, looked at it as pennies from heaven, not so much since we lost it.

3 inch here at lindale, thawing!

Well if its anything like when I lived there it would be gone in an hour - one benefit of living near the sea.
Unlike here, 1200 miles to the nearest sea and snow came in November and will stay until February at least (although right now there’s only a couple inches at most and actually +1C)

About 4 inches yesterday morning. Very cold no thaw. Makes a difference from mild & wet all the time.

Theres a mess now had a fair drop rain today on top of the melt as wet as ever now wont be dry till spring now
