I'll never get rid of the jerseys, I just need a bit more volume and a bit more vigour like the cow in the foreground in this one.

Am really glad I didn't purchase any cattle at that sale. She's a gurnsey X ? Pobably Swedish red. She's a truly awful cow, 3/4 and by far the slowest milker in the herd. I've served her to blue and if she holds she'll join my little suckler herd next year.

Yep that's the place, had put an offer on the farm too but had to much unsecured rented ground with it and was really more suitable for autumn block.West Webbery?
I got some really good cows and some really awfull cows from there. They were very cheap though because it was a last minute TB sale.
Hell.............look at the colour of your sky. Lots of likes!!!!!I'll never get rid of the jerseys, I just need a bit more volume and a bit more vigour like the cow in the foreground in this one.

There's something very sedate and pleasant about jerseys. I want more but can never find them cheap enough

Was it a jersey bull. When I was relief milking on farms I found quite the opposite, they were nasty little things with serious attitude!!!
I've seen a little Jersey throw a 700kg Holstein in the air at the feed barrier. They were definitely the boss cows in the herd.
Think it's something similar to small man syndrome in humans
