who's on with the urea

Too early for anything here...rain forecast for next week. We usually put on our first application of Urea during the Cheltenham Festival week (Racing mid March)...! I am not so sure that many of wheat crops will take up much just yet.
We sprayed off most of land destined for spring crops at the end of October. There has been very little re-growth since then so I will not be going in with glyphosate until a few days before drilling, (direct of course!)

Going round all arable bar the oats with good dollop of urea/sulphur last 2 days, travelling dry.
Shall be stuck in lambing shed from weekend, and am not prepared to be watching it sat on top all of April if it stays dry. Stony brash needs all the help it can get imo. Half an inch of rain will have no adverse effect at all on it, the way it is travelling.

All osr done & most of the winter barley. The rest will be done when the wind drops next then onto the first wheats then back again with kieserite where needed.

Lots of spreaders running locally over the last week or so.

In the middle.
I'm still waiting for my urea sulphur to arrive on farm. Ordered in Nov for Jan delivery and still not here. If we don't get any rain before middle of next week it all should travel hopefully.

The stage where it is warm enough to see a bit of growth on. Oilseed rape grows at lower temperatures than cereals, hence why we do them first in the spring.

Only picked up our new to us spinner 2 days ago, urea due to arrive next week. I guess the rape might want some by the time I'm ready to do it.
