Who's working on Monday?

Sent a van to an ice cream manufacturer / wholesaler to collect routine micro laboratory samples on Thursday - “Oh, there’s nothing left to send out as a sample, ice cream vans have been coming in all day stocking up for the unexpected bank holiday”

Cattle into market, some pigs to split and then rolling some new seeds. Should be done by early afternoon and tea with inlaws. Had a mostly day off today and tomorrow mostly same. Unless I've had a night on the beers always prefer to work bank holiday Mondays and have say the Saturday off instead. Either bugger all open or kids stuff is heaving.

we had a visit booked, rang to re-organise, was told they were working, or l could alter.
so, vet visit 2pm monday, as per normal.

I always take lambs in to a small local abattoir on Mondays. I asked the boss this week if he’s working next Monday.
“No we’re not” he said. “If we can’t take one day to celebrate Her 70 years of service it’s a poor f***ing job”.
Guess I’ll be sorting them on Monday to deliver on Tuesday then!
