it'll be a normal day for me. Radio 4 will cover it I'm sure, and I'll have that on.
Not having a television, it wouldn't make any difference if I stayed indoors, and it will all be viewable on YouTube in the evening.

So it's a strange one?
Some getting paid and don't have to go into work.
Supermarkets, shop, doctors list goes on closing???

Self employed same as usual if you want?
Up to you then.

Biggest historical event in my lifetime since the moon landings in 1969 it would be a missed opportunity not to watch it. No country in the world does these state occasions better than the UK. I have nothing but admiration for the service The Queen has given to us. I will be stopping to watch it. Will probably put black suit and tie on to mark the occasion and show respect as I watch it live on TV.

Unfortunately, we will be spreading. Only a short day (I hope) but if we don’t work in September we shouldn’t be doing the job.

I will be thinking of The Queen all day on and off I expect, as I have since last week.

I hope she wouldn’t be too disappointed in us. I’m sure she would never expect the whole world to stop.
My thoughts too. I don't think she'd have expected everyone to stop.

I find funerals strange and they make me feel uneasy. I don't like seeing another families grief and sorrow grieving a loved one. I always look away when there carrying in and out and family entering and leaving church.

I tend to attend quite a few funerals to show respect for people I have known and to help mark their life. Often I find them interesting and uplifting, particularly a good eulogy. So often you find out things about people that despite knowing them well you didn’t know.
Guess we are all different.
