It was a Swallow , they're out of the nest & sat on some beams , must've lost his footing .

Anyone know what sort of wasp this is? They are burrowing under the concrete in the yard.

If you zoom in you can a wasp in some of the pictures. Small than normal ones. They seem to fly close to the ground.

They look like Ground Bees or Miner Bees, pretty harmless, not aggressive, and if they are disturbed they will peacefully pack up and move to another site.

Dint think they are bees as the thorax is too striped and no signs of hair.

Also they way they fly is just like wasps rather than bees, sure they are a type of wasp.

we have plenty of digger wasps in UK too

 

[Princess Pooper]

White legged damselflies on the river which is renowned as a site for them. They spread throughout the farm at this time of year, even walking through the wheat you see loads of them on a warm still day.
