OK, I'm a raptor nerd and admit it. Sparrowhawk, and to be even more nerdy, I'd guess a female. Good photo!

I love those birds! Courage over load and they'll tackle quarry much larger than themselves.

This one chased a swallow up the stairs and into the bedroom, the swallow escaped.

Pine Marten stealing eggs, did not know who was the culprit, so set a live capture trap. He looks cute, but was just about to try and bite through the cage to attack me!

It's a beautiful part of the world to call home, lots of stuff to do for an hour or two with the family (won't pretend it was an accident) especially this summer - the weather is great for not farming!

I have one that will eat dried meal worms out of my hand, also loves grated cheese! He started off under the feed silo, but the last cold snap we had made him less wary and gradually he has become quite tame, I can't move a muscle though or he is off!
