about to order my fert for next year . Roughly 25-30 pound a tonne dearer than last year at moment. Any predictions if it will fall or go oposite way? I’ve tried to cut back where I can .

Probably wishful thinking it will come down but I suppose in reality nothing rarely ever does but where will it end with price rises. The three fs are crazy just now . Feed fert fuel

I rang my rep the other day to order, he didn,t answer, so left him a message, still not come back to me 2 weeks later, maybe there,s a shortage and the price will still rise.

Why the pressure to buy now with 3 to 4 months till you need it?
Who said there was pressure? I’m just asking if we think it will go down. We always order now before it would always rise in price , delivery January pay for it over feb/March /April . So it’s irrelevant if Sfp in bank now it not. If we know what we to pay over the next few months for it then can budget for other things.

I can remember dad paying £18/ ton for Nitro Chalk . But cant see it dropping to that again . That was before we joined the EU .
So lets blame them
Thank goodness we're leaving the EU and our currency will continue to crash in value against all others. It'll really help with the cost of imported stuff like fertiliser.

Oh no wait, bugger

I will post a graph, which might help explain some of the recent price increases.
