is it just me or are they slow to get growing this spring ?

All there and thick enough plant count etc but looking round today they just don’t seem to have grown sinse before Christmas much

I'm firmly of the opinion now that winter beans are not suited to no-till on our land. We have Claydon drilled direct, Claydon drilled into Trioed land and no-till with the 750a. The 750a are puny and are being outstripped by the rest. Neighbours which were ploughed / Trioed nice and early and then Horsch drilled are romping away.

I’ve had mega winter bean crops behind the 750a over the last few years despite low (almost nothing bought in) input regime

Maybe this is the year the wheels fall off beans - it’s odd as all plants are there and look healthy but just very slow to get going

Can’t agree with you there. Mine are flying. Drilled with the 750 on 12th Oct into Suffolk hanslope clay. I’ll try to put a picture up later.
