We have several patches of winter wheat that are struggling, would they benefit from the old method of Cambridge rolling to assist them to tiller? It seems like a cost free risk which could work?
+1.Do not roll the crop unless it is dry underneath. You will see the wheel marks all season otherwise. Ground needs to be properly dried out for that.
A whack of moddus and some N as soon as you can get there will work just as well. If it stays cool in March you are all going to need moddus as chlormequat won't work very well anyway.
